"Review"

It's not uncommon for people to confuse the term "adware" with "spyware" and "malware", especially since these concepts overlap. My purpose here is to simply review each term and give you a short definition of each and how it may effect your PC.....

Adware is considered to go beyond the reasonable advertising that one might expect from freeware or shareware. Typically a separate program that is installed at the same time as a shareware or similar program.

Spyware applications are typically bundled as a hidden component of freeware or shareware programs that can be downloaded from the Internet.

Once installed, the spyware monitors user activity on the Internet and transmits that information in the background to be used by others for malicious and non-malicious purposes or both.....

Malware is hardware, software, or firmware that is intentionally included or inserted in a system for a harmful purpose. (ie, logic bomb, Trojan horse, virus, worm, etc).

Does your computer runs much slower than it used to. Do you get pop-ups when you're not actively browsing. Do you find programs that you never installed. Have you ever noticed a process running that was never there before. Have you ever downloaded free music online or free mp3 music online using P2P? Unfortunately your PC is likely to be infected. Truth is, about 90% of today's PC's are infected with some type of adware spyware malware.........

"Removal"

The most important thing you can do for your computer right now is to install an adware spyware malware remover or blocker program if you feel your PC has been invaded.
